How To Use Buildbidder

Choose Suppliers

Use the buildbidder search function to find a list of companies to choose from.

Choose a category

Adjust the regions filter to find companies that serve your area.

Look at the profiles and choose which companies you would like to request quotes from.

Once you are happy with your chosen company, fill out the request a quote form on their profile:

Name - this is the name the quote will be addressed to
Email - this is where the quotes will be sent to
Phone Number - In case the supplier needs to contact you.
Details - You can note any specific requirements here (e.g. Site Address, what items to include in your quotes, timescales etc.)
Files Link - We recommend using wetransfer.com to attach all relevant drawings or files to a link that can be sent to suppliers.

Quotes from your chosen suppliers will be sent to your email.

If you need to receive quotes by a certain date, make sure to include this in the details section when sending the request.

Compare your quotes and pick your preferred supplier. Here are a few things to keep in mind when doing your comparison:

Check what’s included in each quote like delivery, fitting, ancillary items etc.

Check the terms and conditions for any hidden fees or charges.

A buildbidder rating can give you an indication of past performance.
